In the first part of October, from the 7th to the 10th, we had a fun visit from our friends (our son-in-law's parents), the Warrs. We really enjoyed their company and taking them around. Considering all the walking we did and all the things we saw, I really didn't take enough pictures!! The day they got here we ate at the food court in the Asian Mall in Flushing, saw the beautiful scenery at the US Merchant Marine Academy and went to Institute class there at the Academy. On Thursday we saw the Statue of Liberty from Battery Park, One World Trade, Wall Street, the Temple, Central Park and Times Square in the City and went to Institute that evening in Plainview! The next day we went to Jones Beach, the Cradle of Aviation Museum and Sagamore Hill, Theodore Roosevelt's summer White House and had some good New York Pizza. On Saturday morning we drove them to Orient Point where they caught the ferry to New London, Conn. Fun times!!
